Studio Chill, a longstanding independent rehearsal and recording studio in Times Square, NYC, hosts a large community of musicians and singers in all genres. Our service-oriented approach and longevity—and our excellent rehearsal and recording gear—have allowed us to build relationships with many talented artists, bands, producers, and engineers who are ready to help you with your song, album, or video scoring project. Singer, drummer, and songwriter Eric Brown has played around the world with a range of leading R&B/Soul artists. His album U Matter was released in 2019 on the Studio Chill imprint, and his new album, Move Now, was released in fall 2024. Many of these tracks were recorded and/or mixed at Studio Chill NYC.

CCB Reggae All-Stars

CCB, formerly the Cannabis Cup Band, comprises 14 singers and musicians with tremendous collective experience backing leading reggae artists. CCB is the longest-running and most popular reggae band in the NYC area, best known for their annual Bob Marley birthday tribute shows and the original 420 boat cruise.

Ras Droppa played bass for dancehall legend Anthony B. for 13 years and backed top reggae artists around the world before releasing his first album as a singer and songwriter, Just a Little Song, followed by the singles “NRA, “She’s So Fine,” and “See Dem.” Ras Droppa sings lead for CCB and High Hopes Band, and plays bass for Easy Star All-Stars.

People of Earth

People of Earth is a 15-piece Latin music collective creating an exciting blend of the music of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and beyond. The world-class musicians comprising this collective represent at least eight different nationalities and have played with a vast range of artists from Gloria Estefan to Ruben Blades, to the New York Philharmonic.
